Double Page Spread Finalized Review
In my double page spread draft the picture on the left was
not an original image as it was taken from the internet. In my final double
page spread I have changed this image and took a photo myself instead. Just like
the image from the internet, the person is looking directly at the target audience
to create a connection. I have also tried to copy the similar lighting as the
internet image. The internet image had very high key lighting which made his
face very easy to see and the target audience could easily recognize the person. To copy this I have also took my photo in very high key lighting for a
similar effect.
In my research I have found that every magazine page has a
number in the bottom right corner. With this information I have added a page
number as well in order to make my double page spread more accurate to an actual
magazine.
Also in my double page spread draft the image behind the text
was too bold and made the actual text difficult to read. In order to fix this
problem I went back into Photoshop and made this layer more transparent, this has
made it much easier for the audience to read.

Music Magazine Double Page Spread - Final
This is the last version of my double page spread, in this version i have changed my article into columns in order for it to fully fulfill the codes and conventions of an article that would be featured on a double page spread. I took into consideration what my peers have said about the difficulty in reading the writing, to fix this i have changed the font and boldness of the text and it is now easier to read. My 2nd version of my double page spread looked very boring and had no other images besides my central image on the left, because of this I went back and took more photos of my model in different poses and put them in the gaps of my article. Overall I think that this final version is better than my previous attempts.

Adventure Time Meets Bravest Warriors (Photoshop Practice)
Adventure Time is an American animated television series
created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. Bravest Warriors is an American
animated web series also created by Pendleton Ward, the creator of Adventure Time,
and directed by Breehn Burns. The series is produced by Frederator Studios for
their Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel.
I am a big fan of both shows so I decided to make a sort of
memorial piece involving some of the most iconic characters from both
franchise. For those who don’t watch the show, on the left we have Beemo and
Jake from Adventure Time and on the right is Catbug and Imposibear from Bravest
Warriors. I highly recommend both shows but if I had to pick one it would be
Bravest Warriors :) Enjoy
